One lucky player has won one of the top prizes in the Irish lotto

Not the jackpot, but not exactly a kick to the teeth, either.

Just one day after the news that an Irish player won half a million euro on the Euromillions, and we’ve yet more good news.

Truth be told, there were over 42,000 winners of the Irish lotto on Saturday 1 September, but those prizes ranged from Matching 5 Numbers, which got them €865, to Matching 2 And A Bonus, which got them a €3 lotto quickpick.

However, one person did manage to bank a larger sum, but we’ll get to that in a moment.

First of all, the big jackpot for €2 million was won by no-one, so that will rollover to next week. In case you’re curious, the winning numbers were 7, 8, 9, 15, 27, 29 and the bonus was 33.

Nobody won the €1 million from the Lotto Plus One draw either, and those numbers were 8, 14, 16, 21, 41, 46 and the bonus number was 37.

However, there was one winner of the Lotto Plus Two draw, banking them a tasty €250,000.

The winning numbers were 3, 14, 24, 26, 30, 33 and the bonus number was 1.

All we know at the moment was that the winning ticket was sold somewhere in the West of the country.

After that, it is up to you. Get checking!
