JOE reader, James “Jesus” Smyth, sent us in the following picture, which was taken at his going away party in Wellington, New Zealand recently. James tells us, “I started playing hurling over there and the lads gave me the nickname Jesus. It was my leaving party, which was dubbed The Last Supper…” So naturally, James and his mates recreated the late 15th-century mural painting by Leonardo da Vinci. We think they did one hell of a job… 11311000_10153328796948363_1523216865_n Here are the 'disciples' in question… Left to right - Conor O'Grady, Tony Ling, Raymond Sheehan, Chris Ross, Denis O'Riordan, Julie Winters, James 'Jesus' Smyth, Shane O'Riordan, Conor Moylan, Eoghan O'Leary, Emmet Whelan, Alan Maher, Alan O'Cuinneain. Massive thanks to James Smyth for sending this our way on Facebook - Main pic via Wikipedia
