Journalism is a fast paced world and every now and again we make mistakes. What's important though is being able to acknowledge when things go wrong and roll with the punches, like, for example, today when FHM tweeted the Irish comedian Ed Byrne about an article that he knew nothing about. https://twitter.com/FHM/status/632869456390152192 Ed Byrne got back to the magazine to inform them that they had made a mistake and it was not him in the interview but another familiar Irish comedian, Jason Byrne. https://twitter.com/MrEdByrne/status/632900908611989505 This was quite a bad situation for FHM and I know what you're thinking, it's still possible to salvage it. Rather than admit their mistake and laugh it off, FHM were not fully convinced that they made an error and decided to question Ed Byrne's confident knowledge regarding his own identity, pulling out a 2012 interview with his name and photo. This was also an interview that Ed Byrne didn't do.
