Earlier this week a bunch of lads from Maynooth sent us in a picture of their very impressive Christmas tree made entirely of bottles of beer and vodka. We thought it wouldn’t be beaten but we didn’t count on the work of Galway man Devlin Connaughton.
In a no way stereotypical fashion, the man from the City of the Tribes, with a little help from two elves called Sean Delaney and Niall Egan, put together a tree made entirely of Buckfast bottles.
Devlin tells us that 96 bottles went into his creation and really, nothing says it’s Christmas like a Buckie tree.
