The Dingle What’s On page is a popular one on Facebook, with thousands of people regularly logging on to see updates on events in the picturesque Kerry community and the surrounding areas and some nice pictures of what is one of the most beautiful parts of the country.

The man running the page might have to spend a significant amount of time in the doghouse, however, after posting an ad about a dog and his wife on the page at the weekend.

Since the ad was uploaded late last week, it has attracted over 7,500 likes, just under 1,000 comments and has been shared 3,400 times at the time of writing and a quick glance below will soon tell you why.
