PICS: Look at the size of the spider found in a house in Wexford last night

Prepare to be hit with a serious case of the heebie-jeebies.

Ireland is not known as a home to some of the most frightening arachnids on the planet, but those of you with a fear of spiders might recoil just slightly at the sight of a spider found a house in Wexford on Tuesday night. Clive Lawler from Taghmon in Wexford came across the spider below in his house but was so unruffled that he took a couple of photos and actually picked it up and left it outside. Clive reckoned it was about 3 inches in diameter and by the look of these photos, we’d believe him. In case you missed our prior warning, if you've a fear of spiders, look away now. Look at the size of those legs… Speaking to JOE about the discovery, Clive said: "I just picked him up and released him back to the wilderness. “It was about 2-3inches in circumference, taking his long legs into consideration.
