The app has 200 million users, who share a mammoth 65 million photographs every day.
Every celebrity on the planet uses Instagram to endorse products and give fans a glimpse of their lifestyle, or in James Franco’s case, to show people how weird he is in real life.
The developers of the app have revealed the top three most liked photos of 2014 and there are some pretty familiar faces on the podium.
