Now that the big day is gone, and all that shopping is out of the way, it’s time for more shopping because the sales just started. Ah consumerism, she’s lovely ain’t she?

One thing you may have experienced in the run up to Christmas was being brought around every shop in existence to find that perfect gift for someone, or get several gifts pointed out to you that “it would be nice” to have under the tree on Christmas day. By Jove we hope you got the hint…

However, we’re sure that more than a few of you were brought out and trudged from shop to shop, and by the time you’d gone to the third shopping centre you’d lost the desire to stay awake that day. Thankfully, this brilliant Instagram account ‘Miserable Men’ captured the moments that these lads all wish they had stayed at home.

Clearly, most of these, if not all of them, are Americans, but you can feel the misery ooze off them from all the way over here. Hard luck lads, hard luck.

When even the big man himself has had enough of Christmas shopping, you know it’s gone too far. More to come with the Stephen’s Day sales starting early this morning…
