Pics: What's the verdict on the special edition Champions League Adidas Predators?
While it will hardly match the phenomenal reaction to the multi-coloured version of the classic Copa Mundials, Adidas’ range of Champions League Adidas Predators are bound to stir up debate amongst boot connoisseurs.
Just in time for the new Champions League season, Adidas have styled the Adidas Predator LZ II in the colour of the top sides represented by the sportswear brand in this season’s competition and the end results are pretty interesting indeed.
AC Milan, Bayern Munich, Chelsea and Real Madrid are the sides selected and although all of the boots follow the same design as the current LZ II and all include a club crest and an ‘all in’ message emblazoned on the boot, they look completely distinct from one another once the club colours are applied.
Football boot fans will obviously have their own preferences depending on taste and the club they support, but in our own humble opinion, the Chelsea boots are probably the nicest, while of all of them we wouldn’t be too keen on the Real Madrid edition, particularly with the splash of orange on the side.
There seems to be precious little information about the availability of the boots and we’re not sure whether representatives of the clubs will wear them in this season’s competition, but on first glance, what’s your initial response? Feel free to let us know in the comment box below.
