Reddit’s ‘don’t press the button’ experiment will drive you around the twist

Homelife

This is genius, and we're not sure why.

Reddit has created a page with a timer that counts down from 60 seconds. Nothing too odd in that - except for the fact that they've also put a shared button on to the page. Once a user, any user, clicks that button the timer goes back to 60 seconds. Check it out here and drive yourself demented. Note: This is what it should look like... Button With close to half a million people on the page at any one time, the chances of us ever finding out what happens when the timer reaches 0.00 are slim to none as someone, somewhere will always press the reset button. Clearly, this is proving to be a very popular social experiment as the servers are straining to keep up with traffic on the page, but if you do manage to log in we urge you - DON'T PUSH THE BUTTON!
