Do you know a Fitzgerald family in Castleknock?
Ireland’s Fittest Family has become something of a phenomenon on the national broadcaster’s main station. Families sign up to a set of rigorous tasks, combined of a series of obstacles set up in a course in which both families compete against the clock, to find out who exactly is Ireland’s Fittest Family.
Mairead Ronan is a presenter on the show and took to Twitter yesterday evening posting a very sweet letter sent into her be a young fan, hoping to entice the producers with her spin-off idea.
And we’ve got to hand it to her, it’s not bad.
HELP… Does anyone in the Castleknock area know a Fitzgerald family whose little girl might have written this letter to RTÉ about @FittestFamily? We’d love to get in touch with her parents to arrange a small Xmas surprise….if you do let @KiteEnt know! pic.twitter.com/tk3UjqxEbC

Ronan then took to Twitter to ask her followers if anybody knew who the letter could possibly be from:

Do you know any Fitzgeralds in the Castleknock area who have a fitness loving child in their midst?
Looks like she’s onto the next big thing.
