Here’s the reasons why Kerry is known as ‘the kingdom’

If someone told you they’re going to ‘see the stars’, where would you assume they’re going?

Hollywood? Space? Well think again. County Kerry has so much to offer when it comes to stars, in every sense of the word!

Whether you’re a skywalker or a stargazer, The Kingdom offers activities that you’ll agree are totally unmissable.

From blockbuster sets to astronomy events, Kerry is as good as it gets.

Let’s take a look at what’s on offer!

Dark Sky Tours

In the village of Ballinskellig, along the Wild Atlantic Way, Kerry Dark Sky Tourism offer an experience you won’t want to miss. It may just be the best location in the northern hemisphere to take in a night sky like this! Thanks to the lack of light pollution, over 6,000 stars are visible at once to the naked eye.

Sounds like something you’d be into? Rockshore are offering you and four mates the chance to see it yourselves, as part of one deadly day trip to Kerry. See more details on this competition here.
