“I’m ready for this.”
When we last saw Róisín Whelan, the up-and-coming spoken word artist was learning how to build up her confidence and take the step of sharing her talent in front of a live audience. As part of our #TimeToShine campaign, we’ve been following her journey as she learns to free herself of self-doubt.
With the help of her mentor, established spoken word artist Melissa Ridge, the time has finally come for Róisín to put what she has learned into practice. In front of a live audience, she performs a spoken word poem that she has written herself.
It may not be an easy thing to do, but Roisin has always had the talent. After putting any doubts about herself aside, she certainly nailed her debut live performance.
We look forward to seeing how Roisin continues to progress as a spoken word artist. Watch this space!
