The Student Entrepreneur Awards 2019 are open to all full-time third level students in Ireland.

The competition is a great opportunity for ambitious college students to build a real-world business venture and at the same time be in with a chance to win €35,000 in cash prizes and €30,000 in consultancy fees.

What to do with your business idea

The substantial prize fund includes €35,000 in cash prizes and €30,000 in consultancy fees to help the winners turn their idea into a commercial reality. In addition to winning the first place cash prize of €10,000, winning team will also receive mentoring from Enterprise Ireland and the Local Office to develop the commercial viability of their idea.

The first stage of entry is to produce a 3-minute video about your business idea by 5pm Friday, 8 March 2019. Tell them about your great idea in a short and memorable video. If your project is shortlisted you’ll need to develop a business plan that shows your idea is commercially viable, well thought out and well researched.

What a brilliant way to finish college. Get your degrees by all means, but imagine the excitement of running your own business and having a nice cash injection of €10,000 to get you up on your feet.
