Surely the biggest news coming out of Dublin-based colleges this week...
UCD have just announced that the President of their Student Union Katie Ascough will be impeached, following a referendum held in the university on Thursday. 69% of voters voted in favour of her impeachment, with a total turnout of 6,111.
But this is still not the most controversial thing to happen in Dublin colleges this week.
Not to be outdone, IT Tallaght have gone and produced one of the most ridiculous excuses for a "sandwich" we have ever seen. And we use the word "sandwich" loosely. Very loosely.
Student Eric Johnson was just looking for a bit of breakfast, ordering a rasher and sausage sandwich. And he got the rashers. And the sausages. And the bread. But not a sandwich.
