The best wedding venues in Ireland have been revealed

Handy information for anyone planning their big day anytime soon.

Ballinacurra House in Cork claimed the award for the best wedding venue in Ireland at the 2017 weddingsonline Awards in Clontarf Castle in Dublin on Monday night.

The luxury private estate in Kinsale claimed awards for overall venue of the year and exclusive venue of the year at a black tie gala ceremony, where awards were handed out in 33 different categories to weddings businesses and services throughout Ireland.

As far as wedding venues were concerned, Rathsallagh Country House in Wicklow took home the award for hotel venue of the year in Leinster, with the Garryvoe Hotel in Cork, Lough Eske Castle in Donegal and the Radisson Blu Hotel and Spa in Sligo winning regional awards in Munster, Leinster and Connacht respectively.

Barberstown Castle in Kildare won Castle Venue of the Year and the Landmark Hotel in Carrick-on-Shannon won Waterside Venue of the Year, while there were judges’ commendations for Ballymagarvey Village in Dublin, the Four Seasons Hotel in Carlingford, the Brehon in Killarney, the Four Seasons Hotel in Monaghan and the Armada Hotel in Clare.
