Reeling in the Years

For any fans of the iconic television show.

There’s something about Reeling in the Years that is so quintessentially Irish.

A TV show that can go from showing you iconic sporting moments seconds after terrorist attacks and massive political moments, without coming across unnatural is something that should truly be cherished.

That’s why so many Irish people love the show.

And if you are one of the people who loves it, we have the quiz just for you.

There’s a Reeling in the Years quiz happening in Dublin next week in aid of Merchants Quay Ireland, an Irish homeless charity who provide support to people who are homeless, hungry and in addiction.

So if you think you could correctly answer what age Packie Bonner was during Italia ’90, or say what year Pope John Paul II came to Ireland, this might just be your perfect night out.

Organised by the people behind the ‘out of context Reeling in the Years’ Twitter page, there will be familiar faces MCing various rounds.

The quiz is in Twenty-Two Night Club on Southanne Street on 11 March, and you can get tickets here.
