TikTok involving Dublin Zoo, an orangutan and a child’s teddy is incredible

Stephen Porzio

It really is a journey.

A currently trending TikTok involving Dublin Zoo, an orangutan and a child’s teddy has probably the best plot twist since The Sixth Sense.

While visiting Dublin Zoo and checking out its orangutans, a child dropped their teddy into the water.

In the clip, an orangutan can be seen breaking off a long piece of grass to try and retrieve the stuffed animal.

Eventually, the ape got the teddy from the water and looked like it gave it a kiss, provoking some oohing and aahing from onlookers.

So far, it all seems like very wholesome content.

The orangutan can then be seen climbing up a structure, with onlookers believing the ape was going to drop the stuffed animal back down to the kid.

Instead, it ripped the teddy apart – dropping its remains down onto the crying child.

As the TikTok’s narrator says, RIP Teddy.
