You can’t bulldoze too much of a good thing.
You may have heard that a JCB drove into a McDonalds in Castletroy, County Limerick on Monday night in a failed burglary attempt.
The teleporter damaged the outlet’s main entrance, but, according to Gardaí, nothing was stolen.
It’s not the first time it’s occurred in Ireland recently, of course, with a similar incident occurring in Lidl in Fortunestown earlier this month.
Six people were arrested after the Lidl outlet was bulldozed with a stolen digger. The store was then subsequently looted, while criminals also attempted to break into a safe stolen from the premises.
After it occurred to a McDonald’s outlet in Limerick, Lidl Ireland thought they’d extend their sympathies.
Replying to a story written this morning about the Limerick burglary attempt, Lidl Ireland replied with this…
@McDonalds Hope you're okay hun x

Give that social media team a raise.
