VIDEO: Bum-flavoured ice cream and wonky lyrics: Phil Jupitus spins JOE’s Tombola of Truth

One of the funniest men on TV is coming to Ireland

Paul Moore

One of the funniest men on TV is coming to Ireland.

The Vodafone Comedy Carnival arrives in Galway this week with the likes of Dylan Moran, Rich Hall, David McSavage, Nina Conti, Jason Byrne and our own Eric Lalor set to play across the city from Tuesday 20th- Monday 26th.

But one of the most popular draws will be the brilliantly funny Phil Jupitus.

The Never Mind the Buzzcocks star has consistently proven that he has one of the quickest minds in comedy.

In a glittering career, there’s literally nothing that he hasn’t turned his unique sense of humour to. Poetry, pantomime, political activist, popular panelist and TV personality are just some of the many roles that he’s made people laugh in and Galway will be no different.
