Someone needs to learn the safe cross code.
Here we see what happens when you try to jaywalk across a road without taking into account the possible unseen dangers that lurk around the corner.
Irish biker Martin McGowan recorded the footage outside the Convention Centre in Dublin last week and it shows why you really have to have your wits about you when crossing a busy intersection.
What’s worse is the fact that there are pedestrian lights just a short distance up the road…
Speaking to Broadsheet.ie, Martin said: Caught this footage on Thursday, May 28, at around 4pm at the Convention Centre in Dublin. Didn’t have time to stop and give my details to the biker (as I was heading off on a stag).
“If that was a car [the pedestrian] would’ve been in far worse shape!”
Just in case it’s been a few years since you last heard the good ol’ safe cross code, here it is thanks to the RSA…
