In the sporting world, Donegal won their first ever All-Ireland title after beating Dublin at Croke Park and Michael Carruth won gold at Barcelona. '92 was also an interesting year for music though because Linda Martin won the Eurovision while tracks like Rhythm Is a Dancer - Snap!, Stay - Shakespears Sister and End of the Road - Boyz II Men were number one in the Irish charts.
