Video: Man who loses car and potential $1 million prize is world’s worst Wheel of Fortune contestant since Randy Marsh

Oh Julian, Julian, what were you thinking?

Oh Julian, Julian, what were you thinking?

Listen, we know it can’t be easy being a contestant on a game show in front of an audience and thousands upon thousands of people watching on television, but we think we might have stumbled upon arguably the worst contestant in the history of television game shows.

Julian, a university student, was a contestant on well-known quiz show ‘Wheel of Fortune’ last Friday and managed to do himself out of a potentially hefty cash prize and a brand new car purely because of his own incompetence.

First of all, having actually managed to solve a puzzle naming a character as ‘Mythological Hero Achilles’ Julian got the pronunciation of ‘Achilles’ badly wrong, allowing a fellow contestant to pounce for the handiest $1,000 she’ll ever make.

Worse was to follow for pool old Julian when solving a puzzle about a ‘person’, the answer to which – ‘The World’s Fastest Man’ – soon became clear to everyone but Julian, who opted for the letter ‘C’ when all he had to solve were the first and third letter of the last word.

Once again, another contestant hopped in to reap the rewards after Julian had done all the dirty work and although he actually ended up winning in the end, it could have been a whole lot better for Julian and you could tell on his face that he knew it.

Chin up Jules, you’re not the first contestant to endure a disastrous experience on the show…
