You probably spotted any number of wacky, wonderful and bizarre things if you attended Electric Picnic in Stradbally over the weekend.
One of these was most certainly the probably dangerous spectacle that is beer can jousting… yes, it’s a real thing.
Ronan O’Donnell, Michael Mitchell along with Peter and John McNevin took part in this noble sport over the weekend.
Armed with nine cans and riding magnificent translucent steeds, Ronan and Peter battled it out to be crowned the Champion of Stradbally.
But, in our opinion, it ended in a draw…
