WATCH: There was some crowd of people out enjoying the fine weather in Galway

Alan Loughnane

Sure what else would you be at?

We didn’t want to be the ones to say this to you, but it’s important that you don’t get to attached to this current spell of good weather, because… it’s not going to last.

Met Eireann are promising that the current sunny weather will fade in favour of cloudy, overcast weather on Tuesday, followed by more unsettled weather on Wednesday.

But at least this crowd in Galway got some enjoyment out of the sun while it lasted.

A huge group of people gathered near The Spanish Arch to take in some music and sup on cans and bottles in the dying rays of the evening sun.

We don’t envy the Gardaí trying to implement the new bylaws regarding alcohol in Galway this evening, and we certainly hope there’s no additions made to the thousands of bottles of Buckfast that have been found in the area.

But, around The Spanish Arch did look like the place to be this evening…

Thanks to Gary Stephens for sending this our way.
