Only a proper gentleman would give up their Christmas morning to surprise a fan.
Andy Quirke, of Damo and Ivor fame, gave up his own Christmas morning to surprise his number one fan at their home in South Dublin.
Kayty Lou got in touch with JOE to tell us about how the Republic of Telly star made her 12-year-old’s Christmas by showing up to their Dublin home unannounced:
”Damo from Damo and Ivor aka Andy Quirke showed up to my house this morning to surprise my 12 year old son who’s a massive fan! He was so shocked but absolutely over the moon!!
”He sat down, had a cuppa, a chat and gave my son some great advice and support about growing up and being a teen. I’m forever grateful that he gave up time on CHRISTMAS MORNING to make my son’s year.”
Kayty shared a video and pictures of the visit, the delighted teen, and the comic who posed for pictures with all the family.
Quirke also shared the clip on Damo and Ivor’s Facebook page along with the message:
”Damo surprised a big DAMO & IVOR fan early Christmas morning. David Quaid whata funny sound chap! Had a great laugh with ya. Hope ya have a good one buddy!”
