WATCH: Dublin Airport Police rescue baby rabbit from treacherous Storm Emma conditions
Adorable scenes of a snow-drenched Saturday.
As we patiently wait for things to return to normal following the battering the country has taken from the Beast From The East, it's about time for a good old-fashioned wholesome tale.
Preferably one involving a baby rabbit wandering around Dublin Airport - hey, wonder if he knows this dude? - amidst treacherous weather conditions before enjoying rescue from the big-hearted staff patrolling the area.
It's like something out of Watership Down, except not horribly upsetting and childhood-ruining.
Watch the dramatic rescue sequence below.
A special rescue this morning by one of our Airport Police. This little fella was taken to safety & given food and heat. We’re happy to report he’s safe and well. #BeastFromTheEast #Snow #BabyRabbit pic.twitter.com/uyP78y5BOH

Adorable, and yet another example of the incredible work carried out by public transport workers across Ireland in an exceedingly difficult week.
Update: 3:15pm
Stunning breaking news at time of writing - it turns out the animal in question is not a rabbit, after all, but a leveret, which is, in fact, a young hare.
The important thing is that he's still safe, warm, and enjoying viral fame.
Rescue update. He's a leveret - a baby hare. He's still fine.

Update: 7pm
They've only gone and named her, for it is indeed a her. Say hello to Emma.
Hareport News: the rescued baby hare is getting some TLC with our colleague who found it & his family. He's a she, they've called her Emma & will release her back into the wild when she's back to full health. Thanks so much to @mccaheyleahhxo for the picture. #HareEmma pic.twitter.com/rHi5ZL3eU4

Fine work on the 'hareport' pun, too, in fairness...
