“My Dream is Life”.

Dublin girl Denise Ryan, from Rathfarnham, moved to Canada in 2009 after graduating from college and settled in right away; finding a place to live, lots of friends and a career.

However, Denise fell sick, before her condition steadily and significantly deteriorated, until she was eventually diagnosed with Lyme disease in 2014.

The 31-year-old had to return to Ireland, where the illness caused her to lose a third of her body weight, as well as all of her hair, due to the medication she was taking.

Her condition is so serious that she has lost her independence, unable to complete simple tasks, like cutting up her own food, because of the severe arthritis she suffers from on a regular basis.

Despite her hair returning, Denise’s health is worsening to such an extent that she will soon die if she doesn’t receive the necessary treatment in America.

This is her story…

Denise has just eight weeks to raise €70,000 for treatment in Seattle.

As a result, a fund has been set up here, where people can contribute any amount to help Denise fight this battle.
