WATCH: Look at the size of the queue for 99c petrol in Dublin this morning

Ah here…

Topaz announced last week that they’d be dramatically dropping the price of petrol and diesel to 99c per litre in a number of their stations around the country over the Bank Holiday weekend.

Queue Cue traffic chaos…

The footage, captured by Aidan Hickey, shows the queue for fuel at Topaz’s Petrol Station in Kilnamanagh as traffic stretched for the entirety of Mayberry Road and stretched onto the Greenhills Road as well.

The price drop comes to celebrate the rollout of ‘miles’Topaz’s new fuel brand, across its 430-strong network of service stations in Ireland.

The reductions have been happening in 14 locations around the country on Saturday, Sunday and Monday.

The following stations across Ireland sold fuel at 99c per litre over this weekend.

Saturday, 9am for 99 minutes:

  • Topaz Parkway East, Lucan-by-Pass, Palmerstown.
  • Topaz Rochestown Avenue, Dun Laoghaire
  • Topaz The Ward, North Road, Dublin North
  • Topaz Kilcolgan, Co. Galway

Sunday, 9am for 99 minutes:

  • Topaz Stillorgan Road, Dublin South
  • Topaz Glenview, Tallaght-by-pass, Dublin West
  • Topaz Ballymun, Ballymun Cross, Dublin North
  • Topaz Eglington, Cabinteely, Dublin South
  • Topaz Citywest, Naas Road, Dublin West
  • Topaz Thomond, Thomondgate, Co. Limerick

Monday, 9am for 99 minutes:

  • Topaz Parkway West, Chapelizod-by-pass, Palmerstown
  • Topaz Kilnamanagh, Tallaght, Dublin West
  • Topaz Grange Castle, Clondalkin, Dublin West
  • Topaz Shannon, Co. Clare
