Video of police appearing to drag a manĀ from his seat on an airplane has surfaced online.
Passengers filmed the incident, watching the two police officers forcibly remove the man from the plane, dragging him kicking and screaming down the aisle.
According to operator United Airlines, the flight from Chicago to Louisville was overbooked and was looking for volunteers to give up their seats.

In the video, fellow passengers can be heard protesting and asking the police to stop.
In a statement to WHAS11, United said:
āFlight 3411 from Chicago to Louisville was overbooked. After our team looked for volunteers, one customer refused to leave the aircraft voluntarily and law enforcement was asked to come to the gate. We apologize for the overbook situation.ā
