WHAMMY! Comedian Bill Burr and Anchorman’s Champ Kind cannot contain their love for all things Irish

Two of the funniest men working today recall their very funny visit to Ireland

JOE

It’s fair to say Bill Burr’s gig at Vicar Street a couple of weeks ago went down a storm and we’ve already brought you one of his favourite moments from that night’s excellent entertainment.

The American comedian came out to a staggeringly enthusiastic response from the Irish crowd – one he called a “Saturday night reaction” – then proceeded to blow the f**king roof off of the Dublin venue. It was a genuinely fantastic gig.

Here’s the comedian recalling the moment the Vicar Street crowd made fun of him en masse after he told them that his mammy didn’t hug him when he was younger.

Aww, the poor wee pet:

Genuinely one of the funniest men on the planet right now; you can read the exclusive JOE.ie interview with him and see some of his comedy clips here.

Hat-tip yet again to William Shanahan who sent us this latest clip in on the Twiiiiitaaah (if you listen to Burr’s podcast you’ll get that).

As well as that, Burr was also joined by none other than Anchorman’s Champ Kind AKA David Koechner for a recent podcast, where the two very funny men swapped old war stories about their recent visit to Dublin. Just like Steve Carell commented in his recent interview with The Guardian, Koechner was bowled over by the Anchorman love from the Irish crowd, and even went on to pick out the JOE.ie Anchor-fan trail as one of his highlights in particular.

Super duper! That’s nice! Way to go! Neato gang!

Here’s the hilarious, potty-mouthed podcast in full, with the gushing Irish compliments coming at the very beginning:
