National Takeaway Awards

Congratulations to Saba To Go in Rathmines, winner of the Best Takeaway in Ireland.

The Thai and Vietnamese takeaway in Dublin 6 was the big winner in this year’s edition of the Just Eat National Takeaway awards, the results of which were announced on Friday.

It’s the second year in a row Saba To Go claimed the overall award, while they were also awarded gongs in the Best Takeway in Dublin, Best Takeaway Spice Bag, Best Thai, Best Curry and the Best Healthy Takeaway categories.

Saba To Go will benefit from a media package worth €20,000 as a result of winning the overall award, one of 28 categories that garnered over 23,000 votes from the public this week.

Elsewhere, Neapolitan pizza restaurant Palmento in Cork was the people’s choice for this year’s Community Hero accolade in recognition of going the extra mile for their community during an unprecedented year.

In new categories introduced this year, meanwhile, the awards for Best Takeaway Cocktails and Best Takeaway Dessert were claimed by Harry’s Bar in Galway and Mario and Luigi Gelato in Clondalkin respectively.

You can see the winners in all 28 categories below. Details on how to order from them are available here.
