When you look at the most successful sports stars in the world like Cristiano Ronaldo, Serena Williams, and LeBron James, there’s one thing they all have in common; confidence. It’s not just a huge part of their personalities, it’s also what gives them the belief in themselves to be better than the rest.
As clichéd as it may sound, anything is possible with a little bit of confidence. That’s what will pick you up after a bad tackle, or help you get over a bad loss.
We’ve teamed up with Wrigley’s Extra to reach out to the young sports players of Ireland, and hear about how they overcame self-doubt. No trophy was ever won without at least a few bumps along the road, but that only makes victory all the sweeter.
Just like we did for up-and-coming spoken word artist Róisín Whelan, we’ll be creating a video as part of our #TimeToShine campaign.
