Irish trainer Michael O’Hare sends five runners over to Sedgefield today and let’s we hope we're on the right one, along with Ferdy Murphy’s best chance.

By Niall Cronin

I hope you were on yesterday after I tipped Kilkenny All Star who won the first at Southwell very easily and, as my other selection was a non-runner, your double reverted to a winning single.

Anyway, looking at the card in Sedgefield today it’s noteworthy that Michael O’Hare, son of the well-known Barry O’Hare, has five runners lined up. Watch for market moves on all.

In the 2.30 Novices’ Chase, O’Hare has Willie Martin going to post. He should give a good account of himself but it’s difficult to oppose HOLLO LADIES.

This is his first run for Ferdy Murphy since switching from Noel Meade’s yard. The five-year-old won a Grade 1 hurdle 11 last September and today’s chasing debut should prove successful.

Michael O’Hare’s best chance of a winner at Sedgefield comes in the 3.00 Handicap Hurdle. BALE O’SHEA will be partnered by Andrew Lynch and he looks the part after winning at Naas at the end of last month.

JOE’s Daily Double: Hollo Ladies (Sedgefield, 2.30 @ 11/8) and Bale O’Shea (Sedgefield, 3.00 @ 2/1).

Prices from Boylesports at 11am on Tuesday.
