Former England and Manchester City manager Sven-Goran Eriksson has been appointed manager of Al-Hilal, according to reports in Saudi Arabia.
After failing to land positions at Fulham or Aston Villa, Eriksson has reportedly agreed terms with Al-Hilal, the current Saudi Arabian champions.
He replaces former Belgian international Eric Gerets, who has left to take over the Moroccan national team.
Eriksson is said to have agreed a two year deal worth €7 million, and his first match will be the Asian Champions League quarter-final match against Al Garrafa of Qatar.
The 61-year-old Swede has previously been in charge of twelve teams, including Lazio, Benfica, Fiorentina and Goteborg.
