Chelsea owner Roman Abramovich plans £20 million nightclub

Roman Abramovich is planning to spend a fortune on building a nightclub underneath Stamford Bridge, according to reports in the Star.

The nightclub will have a £150,000 waterfall at its entrance, and will be based on a nightclub the Russian billionaire frequented in the United States.

“It’s all being made to the boss’s exacting standards. He wants a place he can relax in after the game, and will invite the playing staff down there with him,” a supposed insider told the Star.

“It will be one of the hottest places to hang out in London when he’s finished with it. He doesn’t do things by halves.”

It will have an estimated capacity of 500 people.
