Premier League star denies transvestite sex romp

Fulham defender Carlos Salcido has denied having sexual relations with transvestite Mexican model Yamille Herrera.

Speaking on Mexican television, Herrera claimed that, following Mexico’s 1-0 victory against Columbia on 7 September, there was a “sexual encounter” between the Mexican international Carlos Salcido and the model.

Herrera claimed that it was only in an on-line chat, some time later, that Yamille told Salcido, "I'm not a girl.”

“He was very shocked,” Herrera said on television. “Imagine! He was very surprised, asking, 'Why didn't you tell me?'"

"This must be very hard for his wife. It was never my intention to hurt anyone. I regret it a great deal."

Herrera vehemently denies the allegation and has said, "This situation has already passed into the hands of the lawyer. We'll see what happens."
