JOE has decided to further assist the Irish public in its never ending battle to keep iPods sounding fresh. Every week, we will be bringing you five essential tracks for dance music fans. Enjoy.

Netsky, Iron Heart. Download here.

Netsky aka Boris Daenen is Hospital Record’s newest signing. Over the past 12 months Netsky has churned out various top notch productions and remixes that have firmly put him on the map – his latest remix of Plan B's Recluse is currently tearing up dancefloors in all quarters.

Iron Lung is a fine example of what he is capable of and is taken from the Belgian drum&bass producer’s self-titled debut album.

Splitloop, I Want You. Download here.

Splitloop are the group who, infamously, met on a bus going to a Prodigy gig back in the day. Finding they had more in common than just a love of Liam Howlett's beats, Phil and Bren formed an enduring partnership that has rocketed them high into the break-beat Premier League.

I Want You is their latest offering of gut churning electro-funk sampling 90s classic Do You Want It Right Now by Degrees of Motion – it’s all about the bass-line.

Summertime - Chris Coco. Download here.

Chris Coco is a radio presenter/Club DJ and ex-husband of DJ Magazine editor Helene Stokes.  Up until 2006 he presented BBC Radio 1's The Blue Room – he now presents Melodica on R.FM.

His radio show, Melodica, is growing from its base on Ibiza Sonica to include broadcasts in cities from Sydney to Istanbul to Chicago. Summertime is taken from his forthcoming album Feel Free, Live Good.

Chk Chk Chk (!!!) AM/FM. Download here.

If The stone Roses and The Happy Mondays got it on and had a bastard child, !!! (pronounced chk chk chk) would be the result.

!!! is composed of Mario Andreoni (guitar), Dan Gorman (horns/percussion/keys), Nic Offer (vocals), Tyler Pope (bass/various electronic devices), and Allan Wilson (horns/percussion/keys).  AM/PM is taken from their fourth album titled Strange Weather, Isn't It?

Listen here:

Jamaica, I Think I Like U 2. Download here.

Jamaica is a French band made up of Antoine Hilaire and Flo Lyonnet that has been on my radar for some time now. I Think I Like U 2 is the first single from their debut album titled No Problem, which was produced by Xavier de Rosnay and Peter Franco in a basement in Paris. Definitely one to watch.
