Lyon are set to offer striker Lisandro López to Roy Hodgson’s Liverpool, according to reports in the French and English media.
Lopez signed for Lyon in 2009 from FC Porto for a fee of €24 million, and has scored 28 times in 58 matches.
With Lyon currently struggling in 14th place in Ligue 1, and a Champions League place looking increasingly unlikely, it has been suggested that they may be ready to cash in on their star.
The 27-year-old, who has previously played for Racing Club in Argentina as well as Porto and Lyon, has seven caps for Argentina, scoring one goal.
