A list of seven cars has been revealed as the finalists for the 2019 Car of the Year award.
As the “oldest and most renowned car award in the world”, it’s a pretty prestigious one and here are the motors that have made the cut this year.

- Kia Ceed
- Mercedes-Benz A-Class

A jury of 60 professional car experts from 23 countries whittled down an original longlist of 20 cars (see below) to seven and a final vote will take place in March of next year before the winner is revealed on the eve of the Geneva Motorshow on 4 March, 2019.
