Traffic is down to one lane on the M50 northbound as a result.

A collision on the M50 northbound prior to 7am is likely to cause traffic chaos for commuters making their way into Dublin on Monday morning. According to AA Roadwatch, the median lane, right lane, hard shoulder and part of the left lane were blocked as a result of the collision, reportedly involving five cars, near Junction 12 Firhouse. https://twitter.com/aaroadwatch/status/879213936809320448 https://twitter.com/GardaTraffic/status/879219874517667840 Emergency services attended the scene shortly after the collision, but with the M50 northbound blocked, there was already evidence of significant delays before peak traffic times in the morning. https://twitter.com/aaroadwatch/status/879223363331403776 AA Roadwatch added that onlookers may be adding to the delays. Commuters who normally use the route should take note.
