A motorcyclist in Limerick that had already been disqualified from driving for ten years was caught driving at 200km/h in a 100km/h zone by Gardaí in Limerick. A picture of the bike in question was posted by An Garda Síochána on Twitter on Thursday morning, with the guilty party set to be sentenced in court in the near future. https://twitter.com/GardaTraffic/status/860048956616781825 The arrest of the biker comes only days after An Garda Síochána issued a warning to motorists ahead of the May Bank Holiday weekend. According to the most recent Garda statistics, 54 people had been killed on Irish roads up until May 3, 2017, compared to 57 for the same period in 2016.
