Gardaí have warned anyone driving this morning to “exercise extreme caution” on the roads.

Snow, ice and cold temperatures have led to treacherous conditions on roads throughout Ireland this morning. Further wintry showers are expected amidst spells of dry and clear weather on Saturday, with much milder conditions expected to prevail from Sunday onwards.
