It was revealed today that new car sales for January of 2016 are up 33% on last year, with just under 40,000 new cars sold in Ireland in the first month of the year. The figures were presented today along with the SIMI/DoneDeal Quarterly Motor Industry Review of 2015, which revealed some interesting titbits about the preferences of Irish motorists when it comes to buying new cars.
