The one with Pierce Bronsan trying to save a population from an impending volcanic eruption, not the one with Tommy Lee Jones trying to save a population from an impending volcanic eruption. This one really is the Deep Impact to Volcano’s Armageddon.

Tremors – ITV2 – 21:00

Kevin Bacon headlines in this trashy but hugely entertaining monster movie set in a desolate, small town in America, when giant subterranean worms suddenly appear and begin causing havoc and eating everyone up.

The Peacemaker – BBC One – 23:30

George Clooney and Nicole Kidman team up to stop a terrorist from setting off a nuclear bomb on America soil in this underappreciated action-thriller.

Out Of The Furnace – Channel 4 – 00:05
