Welcome to #TRAILERCHEST, where we're taking a look at the brand new trailer for 3 From Hell.
Plot's it all about?
Quite a bit, actually.
You might remember that Rob Zombie got into the movie business a few years into the new century and has been churning out gory and often unfocused horror here and there ever since.
We had House of 1,000 Corpses which was mostly a mess, The Devil's Rejects which was actually pretty strong by his standards, a couple of woeful Halloween reboots, the creepy Lords of Salem which had a lot going for it but didn't really come together, and the survival-themed 31, which signalled a new low.
Not to be deterred, he's gone back to the well with 3 From Hell in order to resurrect - literally - the last members of the murderous Firefly Clan, who were very definitely gunned down at the end of The Devil's Rejects as 'Freebird' blared over the soundtrack.
Only they're still alive thanks to apparent Satanic magic and free to wreak bloody hell all across America again.
Judging by the below trailer - a loud barrage of filters, close-ups, and people getting stabbed, bludgeoned and shot repeatedly - Zombie may not have become the master auteur we dreamed of, but this should probably do the job for fans.
