Here are the 5 best movies on TV this Monday
Staying in this evening?
Just a little bit of a quarantine humour for you there. Of course you're staying, as mandated by law.
By now, you may be running short of things to watch on your various streaming services (although probably not). But on the off-chance you are, there's also plenty of entertainment to be found the old-fashioned way: on the TV.
Anchorman - 9pm - Sky One
We could all use some serious cheering up these days, so why not relax this evening with Will Ferrell, Paul Rudd and Steve Carrell all at their very best in one of the most iconic modern comedies?
The Girl on the Train - 9pm - FilmFour
A tense thriller that also deals with themes of alcoholism — this is what you want to watch tonight if you're looking for some excitement. Stars Emily Blunt.
The Boxer - 9.30pm - TG4
Think of everything that Daniel Day Lewis had to put himself through to make this film about an ex-IRA man who turns to boxing to bridge the sectarian divide. You owe it to him to watch this film.
Enter The Dragon - 10pm - ITV4
Bruce Lee's final completed film before his untimely death. If you are unfamiliar with Bruce Lee, the movie features him using martial arts to kick the crap out of a lot of people.
The Babadook - 11pm - Syfy
One of those horror movies that makes you think as much as it makes you scream, which is a lot.
