Tuesday, Tuesday, Tuesday… what are we going to do with you?

We’re all still probably getting over Game Of Thrones, right? If you’re looking for as much info on that as possible, then we recommend you head here, and then here.

You might want to head to the cinema to clear your GOT-y head, in which case we recommend you head here, because that’s where we’ve reviewed all of the new releases.

Otherwise, if you’re in a movie-mood but don’t want to leave the couch, then we recommend one of these:

TUESDAY 16 APRIL

Easy A – Comedy Central – 8.00pm

Emma Stone stretches her comedy muscles (which is something she is supernaturally good at) in this 21st century take on The Scarlet Letter, as Stone finds herself at the centre of a gossip ring about her sex life.

Lethal Weapon 3 – ITV4 – 8.00pm

Gibson and Glover still have great chemistry, and the whole thing kicks off fantastically with a great joke about them not really knowing how to be bomb disposal guys. The villain is crap (something to do with… building houses?), but we’re here for the jokes!

The Happening – Syfy – 8.00pm

The opposite of a good movie. In fact, often regarded as one of the worst movies of all time. Which makes it an absolute must-watch.

Oblivion – E4 – 9.00pm

Definitely one of the least appreciated Tom Cruise movies of late, as the slick sci-fi sheen gives us a different take on the post-apocalyptic Earth, with some great action, an incredible soundtrack, and a killer supporting cast giving their all.

Assassins – TCM – 10.05pm

Sly Stallone is the aging assassin who wants to retire. Antonio Banderas is the new up-and-comer who wants to take his place, and figures the only way to prove his worth is to kill him before he officially retires. A ridiculous, but also ridiculously enjoyable, action thriller.

Gladiator – FilmFour – 10.15pm

“My name is Maximus Decimus Meridius, Commander of the Armies of the North, General of the Felix Legions, loyal servant to the true emperor, Marcus Aurelius. Father to a murdered son, husband to a murdered wife. And I will have my vengeance, in this life or the next.”

LISTEN: You Must Be Jokin’ with Aideen McQueen – Faith healers, Coolock craic and Gigging as Gaeilge
