Decisions, decisions…

So many choices for your Friday evening.

You could check out the line-ups for The Late Late Show and/or Graham Norton to see if either of them tickle your fancy?

Or, if you’re looking for a big screen outing, you can check out our reviews for the new releases – The Curse Of La Llorona, Long Shot, or Extremely Wicked, Shocking Evil And Vile – right here.

Or, just sit in and enjoy one of these instead:

FRIDAY 3 MAY

Bad Neighbours – E4 – 9pm

Seth Rogen and Rose Byrne are a happily married couple who end up going to war with their new neighbours, a frat house led by the ultimate party animal Zac Efron. Funnier than it should have been, to be honest.

Casino Royale – ITV2 – 9pm

Daniel Craig’s first time out as Bond, and it is a toss-up between the grit and bruises of this or the slick and style of Skyfall for his best 007 movie.

Taken – FilmFour – 9pm

He has a particular set of skills. And someone has TAKEN his daughter. So guess what he’s gonna do with those skills?

Ouija: Origin Of Evil – 10.50pm

The first Ouija movie was, as the Ancient Romans used to say, “a real piece of shit”. But this prequel, from the director of the hit Netflix series The Haunting Of Hill House, was infinitely better, and definitely worth checking out.

Supersonic – RTE Two – 12.15am

Documentary about the rise in popularity of Oasis, and an intimate behind-the-scenes look at Noel and Liam Gallagher and the sibling rivalry between them that would eventually destroy the duo from within.

Fright Night – Channel 4 – 12.35am

Colin Farrell is a Las Vegas-based vampire who takes a particular interest in Anton Yelchin and his mother Toni Collette. As much a comedy as it is a horror, there is a lot of fun to be had here, if you’re willing to turn your brain off.

The Raid 2 – FilmFour – 12.45am

Taking the tense, claustrophobic setting of the original and expanding it into a city-wide mobster thriller was a risk, but a risk that paid off. The fight scenes are even more insanely violent than before, and at around two-and-a-half-hours, you’ll need a few Red Bulls to keep the heart-rate up throughout, especially at this time of night.

LISTEN: You Must Be Jokin’ with Aideen McQueen – Faith healers, Coolock craic and Gigging as Gaeilge
