Eddie The Eagle – FilmFour – 6.55pm

Hilarious and heart-warming biopic about the world’s worst skier (Taron Egerton) who won’t let a little thing like being awful stop him from trying to become an Olympic skier, and hires former Olympian (Hugh Jackman) to train him.

National Lampoon’s European Vacation – ITV4 – 9pm

Chevy Chase and his family venture around Europe on a prolonged holiday, encountering one hilarious mishap after another.

Street Kings – Syfy – 9pm

Keanu Reeves, Chris Evans, and Forest Whitaker star in this gritty cops and criminals thriller from the people behind Training Day.

Gladiator – FilmFour – 9pm

Russell Crowe and director Ridley Scott combined their powers to help bring back the sand-and-sandals epic, winning all of the Oscars in the process.

Forgetting Sarah Marshall – Comedy Central – 10pm

Brilliant rom-com with an all-star cast set on a beautiful tropical location. One of the most consistently funny comedies of the last decade or so.

Wanted – ITV4 – 11.05pm

Angelina Jolie is a bullet-bending assassin who has been tasked by Morgan Freeman to train newbie James McAvoy in the art of the kill.

Phone Booth – Syfy – 11.10pm

Colin Farrell answers a call, and is told if he leaves the phone booth, he’ll get a bullet to the brain. So begins the longest day of his life, as he tries to find out why he’s been singled out, while the NYPD attempt to keep the situation from spiraling out of control.

Bring It On – MTV – 12am

Classic teen-com with Kirsten Dunst, Eliza Dushku, Gabrielle Union and more in the tale of mean girl cheerleaders who are hiding some secrets about their award-winning routines.
